■ About the Kids Design Award
The Kids Design Award was established in 2007 to select and showcase outstanding products, services, spaces, activities, and research projects that fulfill specific objectives: enabling children to participate in shaping the future society; fostering children’s sensibilities and creativity; ensuring children live safe and secure daily lives; and encouraging everyone to take an active role in child-rearing.
Eligibility extends beyond items designed specifically for children; products developed for adults or the general public are also eligible, provided their design takes children and child-rearing into consideration. (Source: Organizer materials)
