Tombow Pencil Co., Ltd. will release a limited edition, trendy colors for the popular MONO Pocket correction tape (eraser sized that fits in a pen case) on June 3rd.

The model to be released is the “MONO Pocket Skeleton Color” (retail price 286 JPY/260 JPY excluding tax). It incorporates a “Y2K” color scheme, a revival of the year 2000 trend, which has become popular again among young people. The Y2K colors are a highly saturated color lineup that bring a sense of novelty to students and nostalgia to adults. The case is skeletonized, allowing the mechanism to be seen. It comes in five colors: clear, orange, green, high pink and grape.

“MONO Pocket Skeleton Color” is our smallest correction tape. The tape is 5mm wide x 4m long. It is about the same size as an eraser (equivalent to MONO PE03). Carry it around in your pen case, keep it on your desk. It’s a correction tape that you can take with you wherever you go.

21mm wide x 15mm thick x 53mm long, making it the smallest of our correction tapes, almost the same size as MONO Eraser PE03 (PE03: 20mm wide x 11mm thick x 55mm long). Although it is small, remove the 16mm long cap and attach to the back and the length will increase by about 20% to 64mm, giving more stability when used.
